"Hope," a musical about Barack Obama, opens in Germany on the 17th of January. The official website of the musical can be found here.
Further, the auditorium has been fitted with "musical furniture" so that the audience can participate in the performance by (as far as I can tell) using the seats as percussion instruments.
Is this musical (furniture included) a bad idea, is it an example of bad execution, or is it all just a gimmick? Or possibly all of the above?
