Sir Ian signs on for the Hobbit films

Peter Jackson is producing a film version of "The Hobbit," but not directing it. Guillermo del Toro has signed on to direct. Apparently, they are making it into two films, not just one.

And now Sir Ian McKellen has been confirmed as reprising his role as Gandalf.
