And...what is this song actually about, anyway? I was hoping that puberty was just a metaphor for something else. I had no idea they were so supportive of transgender issues on that show.
They're pulling a Partridge maneuver because they were jealous of PF's ratings and singles, and they thought they could cash in.
The song is about the fact that, just as the kids were getting ready to sing in public, Peter's voice started to change. So they turned that frown upside down and made it part of the act.
